What is this Study?

In an effort to continue our pursuit of the Old Testament (if we do it together it won't be so bad!) we will be taking a closer look at the 4 women identified within the line of Christ.  Traditionally only the men's names are included in a family's lineage, but in the first chapter of Matthew, four women are specifically named.  Three of them fall between Abraham and David and the last is, of course, the mother of Jesus.  In the following studies we will take a closer look at not only the line of Christ, but also, who these extraordinary women are and why they earned specific recognition.
